AUTOID: Top 10 Builds of 2025

2025 has been one of the most defining years in AUTOID’s history. From flagship Porsche projects to first of their kind BMW builds, this year wasn’t about chasing trends. It was about pushing platforms forward with intent, balance, and real world usability.

These are the ten builds that best represent what AUTOID stands for: design-led modification, functional upgrades, and projects that genuinely move the needle.

1. ADRO Porsche 992 GT3

This build set the tone for the year. The question was simple but ambitious: could a standard 992 GT3, fitted with ADRO’s full carbon aero package, deliver RS-level performance while remaining more usable on road and track?

Working closely with ADRO, we fitted the complete kit to Jack’s 992.1 GT3 before booking a dedicated test day at Cadwell Park. With professional driver Liam Lawson behind the wheel, the car was pushed hard to gather meaningful feedback.

For many BMW M owners, Porsche represents the next step in driver-focused performance. This build explored exactly how far the GT3 platform can be pushed with functional aero, without crossing into compromise-heavy RS territory.

2. ADRO BMW G87 M2

The G87 M2 demanded a fresh approach. This build marked the debut of a revised ADRO front-end design, created to address the G87’s controversial proportions and improve visual flow.

Inspired by classic BMW cues but executed with a modern edge, the kit divided opinion in exactly the way ADRO intended. Purposeful, aggressive, and unapologetically different, this build set the benchmark for how the G87 platform can be styled with intent.

3. TRE BMW G90 M5

The G90 M5 represents a major shift for BMW: hybrid power, increased mass, and a new design language. Our aim was to understand how those changes could be elevated visually without fighting the platform.

Working closely with TRE, we developed a carbon body kit that complemented the factory styling rather than overpowering it. This build became a cornerstone AUTOID project and helped shape how we approach modern BMW M cars going forward.

4. Liam Lawson’s ADRO A90 Supra

Liam Lawson’s Supra was one of the most visually dramatic builds of the year. As the first ADRO A90 Supra in Europe, it showcased how the full aero package could completely transform the car’s front-end aggression and overall balance.

Following its AUTOID debut, the car was sent to Tom Wrigley Performance and Overkill Performance for a single-turbo conversion and further performance upgrades. Visually striking and genuinely fast, this build remains a standout modern Supra.

5. TRE BMW G99 M5 Touring

Not every impactful build needs to be extreme. This Individual Daytona Violet G99 M5 Touring proved how subtle, well-chosen modifications can elevate a platform.

As the first opportunity to showcase the Touring-specific TRE PR-1 kit, this build embodied AUTOID’s philosophy of reversible, warranty-friendly upgrades. Parked alongside our Midnight Purple G90 M5 saloon, it highlighted how estate and saloon variants can share the same design language while retaining distinct character.

6. Skyscraper Grey BMW M2 with TRE TR87 Kit

This build demonstrated the power of restraint. Fitted with the TRE TR87 carbon kit while retaining factory wheels, paired with suspension and spacer upgrades, this Skyscraper Grey M2 showed how OEM and aftermarket parts can blend seamlessly.

You don’t need to replace everything to achieve a cohesive result. This was a perfect example of balance done right.

7. Dual Zaero Mk8 Golf GTI Builds

This wasn’t just a build, it was an experiment. Two identical Mk8 Golf GTIs were fitted with Zaero body kits side by side. One installed by AUTOID owner Jack, the other by our professional fitter Kye.

The goal was to answer a simple question: can a novice achieve the same result as a professional? The answer was yes. The install process proved accessible, well-designed, and achievable with minimal tools. Finished in contrasting red and blue, the cars delivered some of the strongest visuals of the year.

8. ADRO BMW E92 M3 – Becky Evans

Revisiting an icon is never easy. The E92 M3 carries enormous weight in BMW history, but with the ADRO carbon body kit it took on a fresh, GT3-inspired silhouette without losing its soul.

BMW Brand Ambassador Becky Evans trusted AUTOID for the transformation, resulting in a build that respected the platform while giving it a bold modern edge. Proof that great design transcends generations.

9. George Baggs’ BMW G42 M240i (LCI)

The G42 M240i is often overlooked in stock form, which is exactly why this build stood out. Returning to AUTOID for a second time, George Baggs set out to create one of the most complete G42 builds in Europe.

This car became Europe’s first G42 fitted with the ADRO body kit, instantly transforming its proportions. Ride height was dialled in using IBBACH height-adjustable springs, keeping the car usable while achieving a cleaner stance. Finished in Fire Red and sitting on 20-inch Rotiform KPRS wheels, the build highlighted the untapped potential of the LCI G42 platform.

10. Zaero BMW G80 M3 – First Zaero Showcase

This build marked a major milestone for AUTOID, as it was the first time we officially showcased the Zaero body kit on a BMW G80 M3.

The aim was to prove that high-quality styling doesn’t have to rely on carbon fibre. Produced in Germany, the Zaero kit delivered OEM-level fitment with serious visual impact. The adjustable chassis-mounted front splitter transformed the M3’s presence, while the rest of the kit blended seamlessly with the factory design.

This build laid the groundwork for future Zaero projects and showed that performance-led styling can still be accessible.

Final Thoughts

If 2025 proved anything, it’s that meaningful modification isn’t about excess. It’s about understanding the platform, respecting the design language, and enhancing what’s already there.

From Porsche to BMW to Volkswagen, this year’s builds reflect exactly where AUTOID is heading. And if this list is anything to go by, 2026 is going to be even bigger.
