Q: What is Betalink adhesive used for?

A: BMW Betalink adhesive is an OEM-specification bonding compound used for attaching body trims, spoilers, front splitters, side skirts and other exterior components to painted or primed surfaces. It is the standard used by BMW and authorised fitting centres for M Performance installations.

Q: Is this the same adhesive supplied by BMW dealers?

A: Yes. This is a genuine BMW part (83-19-5-A32-6D0) sourced directly from BMW through AUTOID's authorised reseller relationship. It is identical to the product used by BMW main dealers.

Q: Do I need this adhesive to fit a front splitter or spoiler?

A: It depends on the product. Some components come with pre-applied 3M tape and don't require Betalink. Others - particularly polyurethane splitters or permanent bonds - benefit from Betalink. Check the installation instructions for your specific product, or contact our team for advice.
