Der F90 M5 LCI verpasste dem BMW Super-Limousine ein schärferes Gesicht – schmalere Laser-Scheinwerfer, neu gestaltete Nieren, eine stärker geformte untere Stoßstange. Der Performance Frontsplitter von Form Industries vollendet diesen Look. Ein dreiteiliges Set – Mittelteil plus dedizierte linke und rechte Seitensplitter – senkt optisch die Front, verbreitert die Spur und bringt die LCI-Stoßstange in echtes motorsportliches Terrain.
Jedes Teil ist aus Prepreg-Carbonfaser mit 2x2 Köperbindung gefertigt, die über alle drei Komponenten hinweg exakt aufeinander abgestimmt ist, sodass die Gewebeausrichtung sauber von einer Seite der Stoßstange zur anderen verläuft. Die Prepreg-Bauweise – Harz und Gewebe unter Hitze und Druck im Autoklav verbunden – erzeugt ein Teil, das leichter, steifer und maßhaltiger ist als nassgelegtes Carbon, mit einer tiefen Glanzoberfläche, die UV- und Witterungsbeständigkeit bietet.
Der Splitter wurde speziell für die LCI-Stoßstange entwickelt, nicht von einem Vor-LCI-Teil adaptiert. Das Mittelteil folgt der überarbeiteten unteren Luftführung, die seitlichen Blenden greifen die neu gestalteten Eckluftöffnungen auf, und die drei Teile fügen sich zu einem einheitlichen Design zusammen – keine Spalten, keine unschönen Stufen, keine nachträgliche Anpassung.
