Das Model S lebt oder stirbt immer mit seiner Silhouette — lang, niedrig und ohne Unterbrechung. Die Carbonfaser-Seitenschweller von Adro sind so gestaltet, dass sie diese Silhouette betonen, statt ihr zu widersprechen. Sie verlaufen über die gesamte Länge der Schwellerbleche, verlängern die untere Karosserielinie, senken die optische Bodenfreiheit und ziehen das Auto näher an die Straße, ohne jemals nachträglich oder unpassend zu wirken.
Die Schweller werden aus echtem Prepreg-Kohlenstofffaser mit einer 2x2 Köperbindung hergestellt, die links-rechts und vorne-hinten exakt aufeinander abgestimmt ist. Da das Harz vorimprägniert ist und die Teile unter Hitze und Druck im Autoklav gehärtet werden, ist das fertige Teil leichter und steifer als nassgelegtes Carbon, mit einem tieferen, gleichmäßigeren Glanz. Das Gewebe auf der Fahrerseite spiegelt exakt das der Beifahrerseite wider — ein kleines Detail, das sofort auffällt, wenn das Auto im direkten Licht steht.
Die Passform wurde anhand eines vollständigen 3D-Scans der Model S Karosserie entwickelt, sodass die Schweller die Kontur des Schwellerblechs vom vorderen Rad bis zum hinteren Rand eng umschließen. Es gibt kein Nachgeben, keine Spalten und keine aufwändige Montage. Funktional verhindert das erweiterte Profil, dass Hochdruckluft unter dem Auto an den Seiten entweicht, was die Stabilität bei langen, schnellen Kurven verbessert.

- Passendes Gewebe, volle Länge — linke und rechte Seiten spiegeln sich mit durchgehend gleichmäßiger Köperbindung von Anfang bis Ende.
