Durch den Einsatz von 3D-Scan-Technologie wird das Rohr des Ansaugsystems für den BMW G80 M3/ G82 M4 in einem Stück gefertigt und sanft gebogen, um einen direkten Luftstromweg zu gewährleisten, der mit weniger Widerstand arbeitet. Wenn es eine Passungsungleichheit oder Höhenunterschiede gibt, verursacht dies Luftverwirbelungen im Rohr. Deshalb haben wir das Rohr nicht nur in einem Stück, sondern auch mit einer stufenweisen Vergrößerung gestaltet, um den Luftstrom sanft in den Turbolader-Einlass zu leiten und so effizienter arbeiten zu können.
Die Luftbox wurde mit einer Hitzeschutzplatte entworfen, um die Hitze aus dem Motorraum abzuschirmen und gleichzeitig so viel Volumen wie möglich bereitzustellen, wie Sie sehen können. Das Ansaugsystem ist aus feinem Kohlenstofffasergewebe gefertigt, einem Material mit geringer Dichte und einem sehr hohen Verhältnis von Festigkeit zu Gewicht.
Kohlenstofffaser ist robust, ohne sich wie Stahl oder Aluminium zu beschweren, und gehört zu den stärksten aller handelsüblichen Verstärkungsfasern, was es ideal für Anwendungen bei Motorumbauten macht. Zudem hat es einen niedrigen Wärmeausdehnungskoeffizienten, was bedeutet, dass es sich bei Hitzeeinwirkung weniger verformt als andere Materialien. Außerdem ist es von Natur aus widerstandsfähig gegen Oxidation, was es besonders geeignet für Bereiche macht, die Hitze ausgesetzt sind.
