What is the difference between HRE FlowForm, monoblock forged and three-piece forged wheels?

HRE FlowForm wheels use flow-forming technology - the rim is spun and stretched under heat and pressure to improve strength-to-weight ratio compared to standard cast wheels. They offer excellent performance at a lower price point than fully forged options. HRE Monoblock forged wheels are machined from a single billet of aerospace aluminium - the strongest and lightest option per wheel. HRE Three-Piece forged wheels consist of a forged centre section and separate rim halves, allowing full customisation of width, offset and finish - ideal for wide-body, staggered setups or highly bespoke builds.

HRE's manufacturing process begins with aerospace-grade billet aluminium, forged and flow-formed under extreme pressure to produce the densest, lightest possible wheel structure. The result is a wheel that is significantly stronger and lighter than cast or flow-formed alternatives - with a structural integrity that meets or exceeds OEM standards while dramatically reducing unsprung mass. Lower unsprung mass translates directly into improved steering response, faster suspension reaction times and a more communicative driving experience.
