Genuine M Performance Heritage 50 Years Bonnet and Boot Badge Emblems

Genuine BMW M Performance Heritage 50 Years Bonnet and Boot Badge Emblem Set

The genuine BMW M Performance Heritage 50 Years badge set was created to mark BMW M's 50th anniversary in 2022.

The Heritage badge design draws on BMW M's original 1973 motorsport identity: the staggered semicircles in blue, violet and red that first appeared on BMW racing cars.

The set includes a front bonnet badge and a rear boot lid badge. On some models the boot lid badge comes in two versions, with or without a reversing camera, so please choose the right one when you order. An installation video is available on the AUTOID YouTube channel.

If your 2015-on BMW isn't listed, choose 'Unspecified 2015+ model' and give us your VIN so we can supply the right badges.

Q: Which BMW models does this badge set fit?

A: It's listed for the models shown in the fitment list above, and badge sizes differ between models, so please choose your model from the options. If your 2015-on BMW isn't listed, choose the 'Unspecified 2015+ model' option and give us your VIN. On some models the rear badge comes with or without a reversing camera, so check which one your car needs.

Q: What is the history behind the blue, violet and red design?

A: The three-colour design dates back to 1973, when it first appeared on BMW's racing cars. For BMW M's 50th anniversary, BMW brought the design back as a genuine M Performance accessory.

Q: Which rear badge do I need, with or without reversing camera?

A: If your BMW has a reversing camera integrated near the rear badge position, you need the camera-compatible version. If unsure, check the rear of your car for a small lens near the badge position, or contact us with your registration.

Q: Is there a fitting video?

A: Yes. AUTOID has produced a step-by-step installation video available on the AUTOID YouTube channel. Search 'AUTOID BMW M Performance Heritage badge install', or ask our team for the link.
