What is the difference between flow forged and fully forged wheels?

Fully forged wheels are machined from a solid billet of aluminium and offer the maximum possible strength-to-weight ratio. Flow forged wheels start as a cast blank that is then spun and stretched under heat and pressure - this improves the grain structure and reduces weight significantly compared to a standard cast wheel, but the core of the wheel is still cast. For the vast majority of road and track day use, flow forged wheels offer excellent performance at a significantly lower price than fully forged equivalents.
Are flow forged wheels suitable for track use?

Yes. Flow forged wheels are widely used in track day applications and are significantly stronger and more impact-resistant than standard cast wheels. For dedicated motorsport or circuit racing, fully forged wheels offer an additional margin of safety - but for road and track day use, flow forged is an excellent choice.
Do flow forged wheels come in sizes suitable for performance BMWs and Audis?

Yes. Our flow forged range includes fitment-specific options for BMW M2, M3, M4, G20/G21 3 Series and Audi platforms, with appropriate offsets, PCD (5x112 for most BMW/Audi) and centre bore dimensions. Check individual product pages for the specific sizes and fitments available.
Can I get flow forged wheels in a staggered fitment (different front and rear sizes)?

Yes. Staggered fitments (wider rear than front) are available in our flow forged range, matching the factory staggered setup of vehicles like the BMW M2, M3 and M4. Contact our team to discuss the correct staggered specification for your car.
