Q: What does forged to order mean? How long will delivery take?

A: Forged to order means each wheel is individually manufactured when your order is placed, rather than pulled from pre-made stock. This ensures you receive a fresh set to your exact specification. Lead times are typically 4–8 weeks from order confirmation. Our team will provide a specific ETA when your order is processed.

Q: The price shows per wheel - how many do I need?

A: These wheels are listed per wheel. For a complete staggered set on the G42 M240i xDrive you will need 2 front wheels (19x9 ET24) and 2 rear wheels (19x10 ET34). The front and rear have different offsets and widths - please order 2 of each specification.

Q: Are tyres included?

A: Tyres are not included in the wheel price. However, AUTOID can source and supply a matched set of performance tyres for an additional cost. Contact info@autoid.co or call our team to discuss tyre options and a complete wheel-and-tyre package price.

Q: Why is the front and rear fitment different (staggered)?

A: The BMW G42 M240i xDrive uses a staggered setup because the rear wheels carry more torque load and benefit from a slightly wider contact patch for traction and stability. The staggered spec (narrower front, wider rear) is optimised specifically for this model's xDrive AWD system.

Q: What is the difference between forged and cast wheels?

A: Cast wheels are produced by pouring molten aluminium into a mould, which limits the density and strength of the finished product. Forged wheels are produced by pressing solid aluminium billet under extreme pressure, compressing the grain structure for a stronger, lighter result. For the same strength, a forged wheel can be significantly lighter than its cast equivalent.

Q: Can I order these if I am outside of England?

A: International orders are available, but please contact our team before placing your order to discuss shipping logistics, customs considerations and pricing. We ship worldwide but some destinations require additional coordination.

Q: Will these fit a standard G42 228i or 230i (non-M240i)?

A: The offset specifications have been optimised for the M240i xDrive's suspension geometry. They may also fit other G42 variants, but we recommend confirming with our team first, as the wheel arch clearance and hub specifications can vary between drivetrain configurations.
