What exhausts are there for the BMW G87 M2?

Complete systems from Akrapovič, Milltek Sport, Remus and Genuine BMW M Performance, including the titanium M Performance system from the M2 CS. There are also Milltek mid pipes, downpipes and OPF/GPF bypass parts, Akrapovič's downpipe and Evolution Link Pipe Set, and Milltek's valve control.
Which G87 M2 exhausts are road legal?

It depends on the part. Akrapovič lists ECE type approval for its Slip-On Line on OPF-equipped M2s, and Remus offers an EC-approved axle-back. The Milltek mid pipes, Z-Pipe, downpipes and decat pipes are listed for off-road or competition use only, and adding Akrapovič's Evolution Link Pipe takes the Slip-On Line outside its type approval. Each product page states which applies.
Do I need a remap with a G87 M2 exhaust?

Not for the Akrapovič Slip-On Line, which Akrapovič says needs no ECU remapping. Milltek's large-bore downpipes need a Stage 2 remap, its mid pipes may need a tune or an OPF delete cable, and Akrapovič's Evolution Link Pipe needs ECU remapping.
How much weight does a titanium exhaust save on the M2?

Akrapovič quotes 7.3 kg (32.7%) less than the stock exhaust for its titanium Slip-On Line. BMW quotes about 8 kg, over 30%, for the M Performance titanium system compared with the standard M2 CS exhaust.
Can I control the exhaust valves on a G87 M2?

Milltek's Active Valve Control Plug & Play System lists the G87 M2, both OPF and non-OPF cars. It gives remote control of the valves and works with the factory exhaust as well as Milltek systems.

The complete systems include the Akrapovič Slip-On Line in titanium, the Remus sport exhaust, Milltek's exhaust and catback systems, and two from BMW itself: the M Performance exhaust with its rear diffuser, and the titanium system from the M2 CS. Alongside them are individual parts, from Milltek mid pipes, downpipes and the Z-Pipe to Akrapovič's downpipe and link pipes, plus Milltek's plug-and-play valve control.
