Door gebruik te maken van 3D-scantechnologie is de buis van het BMW G80 M3/ G82 M4 inlaatsysteem in één stuk vervaardigd en vloeiend gebogen om een directe luchtstroom te bieden die met minder weerstand kan worden aangevoerd. Als er een mismatch of hoogteverschil is, veroorzaakt dit luchtwervelingen binnenin de buis. Daarom hebben we de buis niet alleen in één stuk ontworpen, maar ook met een geleidelijke vergroting om de luchtstroom soepel naar de turbo-inlaat te laten verlopen, zodat deze efficiënter werkt.
De luchtfilterkast is ontworpen met een hitteafscherming om de warmte van de motorruimte te isoleren en zo veel mogelijk volume te bieden, zoals u kunt zien. Het inlaatsysteem is vervaardigd uit fijn koolstofvezel, een materiaal met een lage dichtheid en een zeer hoge sterkte-gewichtsverhouding.
Koolstofvezel is sterk zonder zwaar te zijn zoals staal of aluminium, en het is een van de sterkste commerciële versterkingsvezels, waardoor het perfect is voor toepassingen bij motoraanpassingen. Het heeft een lage thermische uitzettingscoëfficiënt, wat betekent dat het minder snel van vorm verandert bij blootstelling aan warmte dan andere materialen. Bovendien is het van nature bestand tegen oxidatie, wat betekent dat het goed geschikt is voor plaatsen waar het aan hitte kan worden blootgesteld.
Het koude-luchtinlaatsysteem van ARMASPEED voor de BMW G80 M3/ G82 M4 is ontwikkeld door middel van meerdere tests en luchtstroomsimulaties en is ontworpen om u meer pk te laten winnen als u in de toekomst wilt upgraden naar een grotere turbo, waarvan wij weten dat u nu niet tevreden zult zijn met de snelheid. Het zet een nieuwe standaard in vakmanschap voor koude-luchtinlaatsystemen.
