Wij raden sterk aan deze voorsplitter te laten monteren bij een plaatselijke carrosseriebedrijf. Door de plaatsing van de bouten komt het vaak voor dat de voorkant van de splitter losraakt bij gebruik van alleen 3M-tape. Wij adviseren het gebruik van hechtband (zoals Tiger Seal) om de bevestiging te versterken. Ook raden wij aan extra zelftappende schroeven te gebruiken voor een stevige bevestiging.
