Hoe te installeren

🔧 Benodigde gereedschappen:

  • Popnageltang (u kunt hier kopen)

  • Boormachine + boor (alleen als uw auto nog geen gaten heeft)

  • Schroevendraaier

  • Reinigingsdoek + reinigingsspray

📝 Installatiestappen:

  1. Reinig & bereid het wielboog- en voeringgebied voor

    • Maak de rand van de wielboog en de binnenvoering grondig schoon (verwijder vuil, vet, olie of smeer). Een schone, droge ondergrond helpt de voering en beschermers goed te zitten.

    • Als je boogbeschermers het verwijderen van bestaande clips of bevestigingen (pop-klinknagels of schroeven) van de boogvoering vereisen — verwijder deze dan eerst voorzichtig.

  2. Test de pasvorm van de boogbeschermers om de uitlijning te controleren

    • Houd de boogbeschermer tegen de boog om te controleren hoe hij past: volgt hij de kromming, sluit hij aan op de schroef-/klinknagelgaten (of waar je gaat boren)? Dit helpt misplaatste gaten of kieren te voorkomen.

  3. Installeer de boogbeschermers met klinknagels/clips met behulp van je klinkpistool

    • Positioneer de beschermer, steek klinknagels (of meegeleverde clips/bevestigingen) door de gaten in de beschermer en voering. Gebruik je klinkpistool om de klinknagels te “poppen”: dit vergrendelt de beschermer stevig op zijn plaats.

    • Het klinkpistool moet de klinknagelsteel aantrekken totdat de klinknagelkop tegen de beschermer en voering klemt — waardoor ze stevig aan elkaar vastzitten.

  4. Bevestig of zet de voering vast (indien van toepassing)

    • Nadat de boogbeschermer is bevestigd, bevestig je de binnenboogvoering opnieuw — gebruik hiervoor de meegeleverde pluggen/klinknagels of de originele bevestigingsmiddelen van de voering (als die passen). Dit zorgt ervoor dat de voering en de beschermer een stevige, nette eenheid vormen.

    • Zorg dat de beschermer vlak en naadloos aansluit op de voering/carroserie: geen kieren, geen losse randen.

  5. Eindcontrole en schoonmaak

    • Controleer nadat alles vastzit nogmaals of alle klinknagels/klemmen strak zitten, de beschermers stevig vastzitten en de voering correct is gemonteerd.

    • Maak eventuele vingerafdrukken of resten schoon en zorg dat er geen vuil tussen de beschermer en de carrosserie zit.

    Arch protection

    Yea good. Does what they are ment to. They come flat and are a pain to curve to the wheel arch. I believe they are real carbon as there strong as hell and have a nice shine to them. One had some polish on the edge. But lots of adjustment so you can tune to your needs. Comes but special fittings but the fronts could be explained in a note for fitting. Anyway good product

    I ordered those for

    I ordered those for my g42 M240i xDrive ’23 including the rivet gun. Mounting them in the front was easy without any issues. The included rivets fit perfect. The rear mount was more difficult due to a missing hydraulic lift. What I do not like at all about the rear mount is that the holes in the guards are too large and therefore the fit ist more loose than tight. The delivered washers are also too small to support a better coverage of the mounting holes and thereby providing a more stable fit. The issue could be solved by providing larger, black plastic washers for those rear holes in the flaps.
