The front guard is ok but the rear guard will not be used, as the plastic pins/distances which are used for installation are too shot and part of the guard rests on the paint of the car which might damage it.

These Arch Guards are a quality product and look great on the car once installed. Speaking of installation, I would like to make two suggestions: 1. When viewing AP installation video, it suggests using two small pieces of 3M tape, surely these could be provided so you don’t have to waste money and time buying a full roll. 2. The front guards are extremely easy to install taking about 5 minutes for both, the rear ones though are a bit more difficult. The OEM cap screws you have to remove are Hex Headed so a small spanner does the trick with ease, however the AP ones are Philip Headed that requires a screwdriver or socket attachment …. the gap between the Arch Guard and the tyre negates both of these unless you remove the rear wheels! Despite these two suggestions, great product and supplier with very speedy delivery.

📝 Pasos de instalación:

Limpie y prepare el área del arco de la rueda y el revestimiento [show_150ms_ease-in] [-0.094rem]

Limpie a fondo el borde del arco de la rueda y el revestimiento interior (elimine suciedad, mugre, aceite o grasa). Una superficie limpia y seca ayuda a que el revestimiento y los protectores se asienten correctamente.

Si sus protectores de arco requieren quitar clips o sujetadores existentes (remaches pop o tornillos) del revestimiento del arco — quítelos cuidadosamente primero.

Pruebe el ajuste de los protectores de arco para verificar la alineación

Sostenga el protector del arco contra el arco para verificar cómo encaja: ¿sigue la curva, se alinea con las ubicaciones de los agujeros para tornillos/remaches (o donde perforará)? Esto ayuda a evitar agujeros desalineados o huecos.

Instale los protectores de arco con remaches/clips usando su pistola de remaches

Coloque el protector, inserte los remaches (o clips/sujetadores proporcionados) a través de los agujeros del protector y el revestimiento. Use su pistola de remaches para "hacer estallar" los remaches: esto fija firmemente el protector en su lugar.

La pistola de remaches debe tirar del vástago del remache hasta que la cabeza del remache se apriete contra el protector y el revestimiento — asegurándolos juntos.

Vuelva a colocar o asegure el revestimiento (si aplica)

Después de fijar el protector del arco, vuelva a colocar el revestimiento interior del arco — ya sea usando los tapones/remaches suministrados o los sujetadores originales del revestimiento (si encajan). Esto asegura que el revestimiento y el protector formen un conjunto sólido y ordenado.

Asegúrese de que el protector quede al ras y sin costuras con el revestimiento/carrocería: sin huecos, sin bordes sueltos.

Revisión final y limpieza

Una vez que todo esté fijado, verifique que todos los remaches/clips estén apretados, los protectores estén seguros y el revestimiento esté correctamente instalado.

Limpie cualquier huella dactilar o residuo, y asegúrese de que no haya suciedad atrapada entre el protector y la carrocería.
