Aus leichtem, handgefertigtem Carbon gefertigt, ist dieser Flügel mit einem Hochglanzlack für ein hochwertiges Erscheinungsbild versehen. Er wird von zwei Schwanenhals-Halterungen aus leichtem, CNC-gefrästem Aluminium getragen, die sorgfältig konstruiert wurden, um eine optimale Balance zwischen Festigkeit und minimalem Gewicht zu gewährleisten. Hochwertige Titan-Schrauben sichern den Flügel an den Halterungen, während zusätzliche Titanverstärkungen an wichtigen Drehpunkten die strukturelle Stabilität erhöhen.
Inspiriert vom Motorsport-Design wurde das Aerofoil-Profil entwickelt, um ein außergewöhnliches Gleichgewicht zwischen Abtrieb und Luftwiderstand zu erreichen. Eine dezente Lippe an der Hinterkante erhöht den Abtrieb zusätzlich, um die aerodynamische Leistung zu maximieren.
Speziell für den BMW M2 und M240i optimiert, wurde der Flügel mittels Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) verfeinert, um maximale Effizienz zu gewährleisten, ohne zusätzliche Turbulenzen am Heck oder unerwünschte Windgeräusche an den Seiten des Fahrzeugs zu erzeugen.
Der Flügel bietet drei manuelle Verstellpositionen, mit denen Sie den bevorzugten Winkel vor der Fahrt einstellen können. Er ist ABE-zugelassen (AKR-WI KBA 31882) und mit einem dezenten Akrapovič Monochrom-Logo auf jeder Seite versehen.
