Do these exhausts fit the rear-wheel-drive M240i or the 230i?

The systems here are listed for the M240i xDrive. None of the product pages lists the rear-wheel-drive M240i or the 230i, so if that's your car, ask us before you order.
Does an OPF-back exhaust need a remap?

Milltek's particulate filter-back system keeps the factory filter, and its listing doesn't call for coding or a remap, although fitting it means cutting the original exhaust at the connection point. The Milltek cat-back system and OPF/GPF bypass do need vehicle coding, Stage 2 ECU software or an OPF/GPF bypass module.
Which M240i exhausts are road legal?

Milltek lists its particulate filter-back system as proposed ECE approved, and Remus offers EC-approved axle-back and cat-back systems. The Milltek cat-back, OPF/GPF bypass and downpipe and decat, and the Remus racing versions without EC approval, are listed for off-road or track use.
Can I control the exhaust valves on the M240i?

Milltek's Active Valve Control Plug & Play System lists the M240i xDrive Coupé, OPF and non-OPF. It gives remote control of the valves on the factory exhaust or a Milltek system, with no cutting or coding.
What does fitting a G42 exhaust involve?

It depends on the part. Milltek's particulate filter-back system means cutting the original exhaust at the connection point, and Milltek recommends professional fitting. The Remus systems come as axle-back or cat-back sections with mufflers, quad tips and mounting hardware, and the Milltek valve control module plugs in. If you'd like us to fit it, contact our team.
