Fabricada em fibra de carbono leve e artesanal, esta asa é finalizada com um verniz de alto brilho para uma aparência premium. É suportada por dois suportes em forma de pescoço de cisne feitos de alumínio leve usinado por CNC, cuidadosamente projetados para oferecer um equilíbrio ótimo entre resistência e peso mínimo. Parafusos de titânio de alta qualidade fixam a asa aos suportes, enquanto reforços adicionais de titânio em pontos pivotantes chave aumentam a estabilidade estrutural.
Inspirado no design do desporto motorizado, o perfil aerofólio foi desenvolvido para alcançar um equilíbrio excecional entre downforce e arrasto. Um subtil lábio na borda de fuga aumenta ainda mais o downforce para maximizar o desempenho aerodinâmico.
Especificamente otimizada para o BMW M2 e M240i, a asa foi refinada usando dinâmica de fluidos computacional (CFD) para garantir máxima eficiência sem criar turbulência adicional na traseira ou ruído de vento indesejado ao longo dos lados do veículo.
A asa oferece três posições de ajuste manual, permitindo definir o ângulo preferido antes de conduzir. Está aprovada pela ABE (AKR-WI KBA 31882) e finalizada com um discreto logótipo monocromático Akrapovič em cada lado.
