VW Golf Mk8 GTI/R & Audi S3 8Y 2.0T EA888 Gen4 R600 Air Intake System by Racingline (2019+)

The Racingline R600 Air Intake System is a direct replacement for the restrictive factory airbox on the EA888 Gen4 2.0 TSI engine, as fitted to the Volkswagen Golf Mk8 GTI/R, Audi S3 8Y, Cupra Leon, Skoda Octavia vRS and related MQB Evo models. Hand-built in the UK, it pairs a high-flow filter with a rotomoulded intake pipe and CNC-machined MAF housing, giving the engine a much freer path to breathe without compromising factory-fit reliability.

Direct replacement for the restrictive factory MQB Evo airbox
Increases airflow for genuine gains in power and throttle response
Sharper, more aggressive induction note under load
CNC-machined aluminium MAF housing for accurate sensor readings
Available with a Tri-Foam or Cotton Gauze filter element, both fully washable and reusable
Straightforward bolt-on installation using the factory mounting points

By replacing the narrow factory intake tract with a larger, smoother-flowing housing and pipe, the R600 system reduces intake restriction on the EA888 Gen4 engine, helping the turbo spool more freely and sharpening throttle response.

At AUTOID, we stock genuine Racingline performance parts, hand-built in the UK to the same exacting standards used across the VW Group tuning scene. Your kit includes:

Racingline R600 rotomoulded intake housing
Racingline Tri-Foam or Cotton Gauze performance filter
CNC-machined aluminium MAF sensor housing
All fixings and full fitting instructions
