Business Development Manager in Automotive Industry

Role Summary

Are you passionate about the automotive industry and looking for an opportunity to lead and grow a sales team? AUTOID is looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team and help drive our vision of providing a platform for everyone to express themselves through their cars.

As the Business Development Manager, you will have the autonomy to create and implement sales strategies across social media, automotive forums, and live events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and optimizing the AUTOID sales and conversion funnel, including e-commerce strategy
  • Prospecting leads through social media, social media groups, events, online forums, and outbound phone calls
  • Communicating with and quoting inbound leads through email, social media, live chat system, and phone calls
  • Converting leads to customers and building long-lasting positive customer relationships
  • Managing customer retention and referrals
  • Attending and engaging in automotive social events and meets
  • Interacting in social groups related to our goals (e.g. WhatsApp groups, Facebook groups)
  • Analyzing sales data and developing strategies for business growth
  • Assisting with customer service inquiries
  • Managing and enhancing existing B2B relationships
  • Developing and growing B2B strategy
  • Prospecting B2B leads through social media, events, and outbound phone calls

What we're looking for

The ideal candidate will be sales and goal-driven, with a passion for cars and the automotive industry. Knowledge and work experience in the automotive industry is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and a proactive mentality are all essential.

Qualifications & Experience Summary
  • Passionate about cars and the automotive sector
  • Knowledge & work experience in the automotive industry preferred.
  • Sales & Goal driven.
  • Ability to work well and thrive under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident, clear, and well spoken.
  • Autonomous; the ability to work and grow without heavy guidance.
  • Proactive mentality, keen to foreshadow hurdles and overcome challenges faced.

    SALARY

    The salary for this role is competitive and includes base pay plus commission, based on experience and performance.

    WORKING HOURS

    Monday-Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.

    Working hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with occasional weekend and out-of-hours work.
