The MICHELIN Pilot Sport Cup 2 R is Michelin's most track-focused road-legal tyre, sitting above the standard Cup 2 in outright dry grip and lap-time performance. It's DOT-legal for road use but built almost exclusively for dry track driving, and is factory-fitted from new on some of the most extreme hypercars from manufacturers including Porsche, Ferrari, Mercedes-AMG and Corvette.

The Cup 2 R is supplied almost exclusively as a manufacturer-specific fitment, with each size carrying a homologation or technology marking (for example MO1, MO2, N0, N1, K1, K2, or ZP for runflat) moulded into the sidewall, and some sizes offered in a sensor-ready "Connect" construction. These markings reflect the exact compound and construction approved for a specific vehicle. The code shown in the variant selector is Michelin's own code as printed on our price list — check your tyre sidewall or vehicle handbook to confirm which code your car needs, or contact us if you're not sure.
