Utilizzando la tecnologia di scansione 3D, il tubo del sistema di aspirazione BMW G80 M3/ G82 M4 è realizzato in un unico pezzo e curvato con dolcezza per fornire un percorso diretto al flusso d'aria, che può così avvolgersi con meno resistenza. Se ci fosse un disallineamento o una differenza di livello, si creerebbe turbolenza dell'aria all'interno del tubo. Perciò abbiamo progettato il tubo non solo in un unico pezzo, ma anche con un ingrandimento progressivo per permettere al flusso d'aria di entrare dolcemente nell'ingresso del turbocompressore, lavorando in modo più efficiente.
La scatola dell'aria è stata progettata con uno scudo termico per isolare il calore dal vano motore e fornire il massimo volume possibile, come si può vedere. Il sistema di aspirazione è costruito con fibra di carbonio pregiata, un materiale a bassa densità con un rapporto resistenza-peso molto elevato.
La fibra di carbonio è resistente senza appesantirsi come l'acciaio o l'alluminio, ed è una delle fibre di rinforzo commerciali più robuste, rendendola perfetta per applicazioni nella modifica del motore. Inoltre, ha un basso coefficiente di dilatazione termica, il che significa che è meno soggetta a deformarsi quando esposta al calore rispetto ad altri materiali. È anche naturalmente resistente all'ossidazione, il che la rende adatta a luoghi dove potrebbe essere esposta al calore.
Il sistema di aspirazione ad aria fredda ARMASPEED per BMW G80 M3/ G82 M4 è stato sviluppato attraverso molteplici test e analisi di simulazione del flusso d'aria ed è progettato per permetterti di ottenere più cavalli se desideri passare in futuro a un turbocompressore più grande, poiché sappiamo che non sarai soddisfatto della velocità attuale. Stabilisce un nuovo standard di maestria per i sistemi di aspirazione ad aria fredda.
