The Akrapovic Titanium Evolution Line Exhaust System for the BMW G90 and G99 M5 (non-OPF vehicles) is a precision-engineered upgrade designed to deliver unmatched performance, reduced weight, and the signature Akrapovic sound. Constructed entirely from high-grade lightweight titanium , the system features complex cast components such as the X-connection and specially designed collectors, all produced at Akrapovic’ in-house titanium foundry. This system eliminates the use of exhaust valves, instead relying on increased tube diameters, acoustic reflectors, a resonator, and the X-connection to create a deep, sporty tone across all drive modes. A damping element in the link pipe enhances refinement, ensuring a unique blend of sound quality and comfort. The result is a balanced exhaust note that delivers a true performance soundtrack without intrusive cabin drone. On the Akrapovic dyno, the system produced proven gains of 8.5 kW (11.5 hp) at 6,150 rpm and 15.6 Nm at 2,550 rpm compared to stock, while also saving 41.1% in weight (15.44 kg lighter) than the OEM exhaust. The system is available with a mandatory choice of quad carbon-fiber tailpipes in either Round or Hexagonal design , giving owners the flexibility to tailor the look to their preference. Installation is straightforward thanks to Akrapovic’ plug-and-play design, with no ECU remapping required.
