Akrapovič exhausts for BMW M and Porsche, supplied in the UK
AUTOID is a UK supplier of the full Akrapovič exhaust range for BMW M Performance and Porsche road cars. Every system listed here is hand-built in Slovenia from race-grade titanium and pre-preg carbon fibre, engineered to OEM fitment standards, and shipped with the manufacturer's two-year warranty. With 130+ active part numbers across the M and 911/718/Cayenne/Panamera lineups, this collection is built specifically for car enthusiasts — not motorcycle riders looking for Slovenian exhausts in the UK.
Why Akrapovič
Akrapovič has been the OEM-spec exhaust partner for BMW M Performance, Porsche, Mercedes-AMG and Aston Martin Q since the early 2000s, and is the homologated supplier to multiple Formula 1, World Superbike and MotoGP programmes. The reason every M Performance and 911 GT3 owner ends up looking at an Akrapovič exhaust is the same reason the factories use them: a measurable weight reduction (typically 5–8 kg less than the OE titanium system on M cars, 10 kg+ on 911 GT3), a hand-rolled titanium tone that's both road-legal and unmistakable, and finishes — high-gloss carbon, matte carbon, brushed titanium — that match the OEM aesthetic without looking aftermarket.

The Akrapovič system range, explained
Slip-On Line — replaces the rear muffler section only. The simplest install, no engine remap required, MOT-compatible on most chassis. Weight saving 4–7 kg, modest power gain (typically 2–5 bhp on M cars), and a 3–5 dB increase under load. Pricing typically £3,500–£6,500 depending on chassis.
Evolution Line — replaces the full system from the catalytic converter back, including link pipes and rear muffler. Larger weight saving (8–12 kg), measurable power gain (5–15 bhp on turbocharged M and Porsche applications), and a deeper, more aggressive tone. Best paired with a stage 1 ECU map. £6,500–£9,500.
Slip-On Race Line — track-focused, decatted rear section. Significant weight reduction, lower back pressure, considerably louder. Road use depends on local noise regulations; intended primarily for closed-circuit use. £3,500–£5,500.
Evolution Header Set — replaces the OEM exhaust manifolds with Akrapovič's own equal-length titanium headers. Available with or without high-flow sport catalysts. Typically the final stage of an Akrapovič build for serious power gains on naturally aspirated chassis (911 GT3, GT4 RS).
Link Pipes — connecting pipework between the headers/cats and the rear section, available with or without 200-cell sport cats. Required when stepping from a Slip-On to a full Evolution system. £1,800–£5,000.
Sound Kits and Valve Controllers — Akrapovič's own electronic actuator kit that gives you manual control of the OE exhaust valves from your phone. Adds the variable-volume behaviour to chassis that didn't come with it from factory, or unlocks full-open mode on chassis that ship valve-shut on cold starts. £400–£1,300.
Carbon Fibre Rear Diffusers and Exhaust Tips — pre-preg carbon aero pieces engineered to match the Akrapovič tailpipe geometry exactly. High-gloss or matte finish. Sold individually or as part of a system package.

UK road-legal status, MOT and warranty
The Slip-On Line and Evolution Line systems sold here carry ECE Type Approval and are road-legal in the UK with the supplied dB killers fitted. They will pass an MOT noise test on stock OBD parameters and do not trigger fault codes when paired with the Akrapovič valve controller. Slip-On Race Line systems are decatted and intended for track use; they will not pass an MOT in road-legal trim and we'll flag this explicitly at checkout for any Race Line order. Akrapovič systems are designed to be installed and removed without permanent modification to the chassis or the OEM exhaust mounts, which means they do not affect the underlying manufacturer warranty on the engine or drivetrain — only the OE exhaust itself, which the BMW M and Porsche dealer networks generally treat as a serviceable consumable. Akrapovič's own two-year manufacturer warranty covers the system from date of supply and is honoured directly through AUTOID in the UK.
Delivery, fitment and support
Akrapovič manufactures most systems to order, so typical lead times from order to delivery are 4–8 weeks depending on chassis and finish. We hold stock of the highest-demand BMW M and 911 GT3 lines where lead times can compress to 7–14 days. Pricing shown is the UK retail price in GBP, inclusive of VAT, with free UK mainland delivery on all systems. We work with a network of M and Porsche specialists for fitment if you don't have a preferred installer — get in touch with the chassis code, system part number and your postcode and we'll route you to the nearest option.
