The successful sales of these M style mirror caps alongside expanding products into spoilers, diffusers and badges it was the realisation that this could be a business. AUTOID was incorporated in November 2015 from Jack's parents shed.

Visibility Boost: Joe Achilles - UK's first F87 M2 📈

Joe Achilles documented the collection of the UK's first F87 M2, Jack managed to showcase and supply Joe with carbon fibre M style mirror covers on Joe's video, This propelled the reach and sales for AUTOID in it's infancy.

Sam Joins Autoid🧍🏼‍♂️

Jack needed extra support getting the orders out after being down from a surgical procedure resulting in his younger brother Sam joining the business. This was to set the blueprint for AUTOID moving forward.

Realising the potential growth of AUTOID Jack quits his full time job and gives AUTOID full commitment.

Stondon Hall Farm 📍

AUTOID acquires its first unit at Unit 9 Stondon Hall Farm, Brentwood. Sam joins the business officially through an apprenticeship.

Sales Boost 💰

The COVID-19 pandemic unexpectedly boosted sales as people had more time to spend on their cars.

AUTOID hired its first external employee, Josh, to manage sales.

Social Boost 🤳

AUTOID expanded social media presence, collaborated with influencers and hired Nathan to lead creative.

AUTOID expanded its warehouse space by acquiring the unit next door.

Huge Growth 🚀

As the content and team developed in all areas so did the reach of AUTOID. The business was pushed out to wider audiences and would become well known in the UK automotive aftermarket scene.

Chelmsford Unit 🏬

AUTOID was bursting at the seams at Stondon Hall Farm. 2024 saw the business acquire a new unit enabling stock increase, added ramps for fitting, a larger office and the space for ongoing growth.
