What is the difference between a full body kit and a bundle?

A full body kit (such as the TREVORA TR87 or Urban Automotive RSQ8 programme) is a complete, purpose-designed exterior programme covering all major aero surfaces - front splitter, side skirts, rear diffuser, rear spoiler and often additional components. A bundle is a curated set of individually-compatible products assembled to provide a cohesive look, such as the AUTOID BMW M4 kit (front splitter + mirror covers + rear spoiler + rear diffuser). Both approaches achieve a complete exterior transformation - a full kit is unified by brand design intent, while a bundle is assembled for optimum combination value.
Do all components in a body kit bundle match in material and finish?

Yes. Every bundle at AUTOID is assembled with matching material specification and finish quality. Carbon fibre bundles use consistent 2x2 weave and matching high-gloss lacquer across all components. Gloss black bundles use consistent ABS with paint code 668 finish. We do not mix carbon and gloss black in a single bundle without flagging it.
Is professional installation required for a body kit?

It depends on the kit. Multi-component pre-preg carbon programmes (Urban Automotive, TREVORA TR87 with rear wing) require professional installation due to the number of pieces and drilling required for some components. AUTOID gloss black bundles and the AUTOID M4/F87 carbon kits can be installed by experienced home enthusiasts, though professional fitting is always recommended for paint protection. AUTOID offers fitting at our Brentwood, Essex facility.
Can a body kit be personalised - adding or removing specific components?

Yes. Most body kit bundles at AUTOID are customisable. Contact info@autoid.co to discuss adding, removing or substituting individual components to build the exact combination your vision requires.
