TR87 carbon package - evolved from aerodynamics:

TRE, a leading manufacturer of high-performance aftermarket carbon fibre parts, is proud to unveil the V3 iteration of its popular TR87 bodykit for the BMW G87 M2. This latest update builds upon over 18 months of meticulous testing and development, pushing the boundaries of design and performance.

From the initial release of the G87 M2, TRE's team of automotive designers embarked on a mission to create a comprehensive carbon fibre aero kit. Utilising advanced computer-aided design (CAD) methods and 3D-captured data from the actual G87 M2, the V3 TR87 kit ensures an unparalleled fit and a cohesive design that seamlessly integrates with the car's lines.
 

 

Each component of the TR87 kit is meticulously produced from the same premium 2x2 twill pre-preg carbon fibre used in BMW M Performance parts. This commitment to quality goes beyond aesthetics, as the kit is rigorously tested using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to validate its effectiveness. The results are impressive:

• 108kg of Downforce at 120mph: The V3 TR87 kit generates a substantial amount of downforce, with a perfect 50:50 balance between the front splitter and rear wing.
• Adjustable Rear Wing: Optimise performance with the ability to adjust the rear wing angle for a lower drag coefficient on straights.

A Homage to the F87 M2 CS:

The design philosophy of the V3 TR87 kit pays homage to the coveted F87 M2 CS. Key elements include: 

• New Carbon Fibre Kidney Grilles with sleek pre-preg carbon fibre surrounds and assertive gloss black centre slats. a split 2 slat design following the design language from the inner headlight surround. These can also be optioned for fully gloss black.

• New Front Bumper Centre Trim: Available in pre-preg carbon fibre or gloss black, featuring cut-out slats for improved airflow to the oil cooler, as well as visual cohesion with the new side ducts.

• New Front Bumper Ducts: These ducts boast the sharp angled design elements from the F87 M2 front bumper. Following the lines from the front bumper centre trim.

• New Rear Diffuser: This assertive diffuser maintains the same design elements from the front bumper ducts around the exhaust.

• 3-Piece Front Splitter: Offers easy replacement in case of damage and the option to swap out sides with winglets or flat designs.

• Side Skirts: Available in configurations with or without winglets for customisation. The winglet version offers a wider stance look, especially when paired with the rear bumper winglets. The flat version is more suited for those looking for a subtle look complimenting the flat front splitter.
