Alkuperäinen diffuusori on kiinnitetty kahdella ruuvilla ja useilla yläosan kiinnikkeillä. Diffuusorin keskellä on kaksi ruuvia, jotka on poistettava, mutta ne eivät ole tärkeitä alkuperäisen diffuusorin asennuksessa. Käytä 8 mm hylsyä ja irrota kaikki neljä ruuvia.
Ruuvien poistamisen jälkeen vedä diffuusori pois puskurista. Yläkiinnikkeet eivät vaadi suurta voimaa, joten erillisiä korjaustyökaluja ei tarvita.
Diffuusorin poistamisen jälkeen on aika asentaa AUTOID:n hiilikuitudiffuusori. Tämä osa käyttää kaikkia neljää 8 mm ruuvia ja olemassa olevia kiinnikkeitä. Asennuksen ensimmäinen vaihe on kohdistaa kiinnikkeet ja painaa ne varovasti paikalleen.
Kun diffuusori on löyhästi kiinnitetty kiinnitystappien avulla, kiristä neljä 8 mm ruuvia.
