A: The V2 bonnet features deeper vent openings and a more pronounced centre section compared to the V1 | giving a more sculpted, aggressive appearance that better matches the sharp G8X chassis lines. Both use the same dry carbon fibre construction.

Q: Does this bonnet require any modification to fit?

A: No. The V2 bonnet uses the existing OEM hinge mounting points and latch hardware. It is a direct replacement for the factory bonnet with no modification required.

Q: Do the vents on the V2 bonnet actually help with cooling?

A: Yes. The vent positions are functionally designed to allow hot air to exit the engine bay. At track and spirited road speeds this contributes to improved engine bay airflow and lower operating temperatures.

Q: Is this compatible with both M3 saloon, M3 Touring, M4 coupe and M4 convertible?

A: Yes. The V2 bonnet is confirmed for M3 G80 saloon, G81 Touring, M4 G82 coupe and M4 G83 convertible.
