Frequently asked questions

What is an Eventuri intake?

An Eventuri intake is a carbon fibre air intake system made for a specific car. Instead of an open cone filter with a heat shield, it uses a reverse-cone filter inside a venturi-shaped carbon housing, with sealed ducting that carries air to the turbo or throttle body and keeps it away from engine bay heat.

How does the venturi-shaped housing work?

The filter sits inside a carbon housing that narrows smoothly towards the outlet. This shape is designed to keep the air moving smoothly, rather than tumbling, as it heads into the engine. Because the housing is sealed, the intake draws air through its own ducting instead of from the hot engine bay.

Which cars do you stock Eventuri kits for?

We stock Eventuri parts for BMW (including the G80 M3, G82 M4, G87 M2, F80 M3, F82 M4, F90 M5, X3 M, M135i, M240i and M340i), Audi (RS3, TT RS, RS4, RS5, RS6, RS7, RSQ3 and S3), Mercedes-AMG (A45, C63 and G63), Volkswagen (Golf GTI and Golf R Mk7 and Mk8), Toyota (GR Yaris, GR Supra and GR86) and Honda (Civic Type R). We also carry kits for some Mini, Porsche, Lamborghini and Lotus models. Check each product title for the exact chassis and engine.

How do I choose the right Eventuri kit for my car?

Start with your car's chassis code, engine and year, as many models have more than one kit. For example, the Audi RS3 8V and 8Y use different parts, and so do the earlier and facelifted BMW M340i. Match all three to the product title. If you're not sure, send the AUTOID team your registration and we'll help you choose.

Can I fit an Eventuri intake myself?

Each kit is made to fit in place of your car's factory intake parts, but how involved the job is depends on the car. Some kits are a simple swap for a confident home mechanic, while others take more time and care. If you're unsure, use a trusted garage or specialist. We also stock Eventuri replacement filters and a filter cleaning kit for looking after your intake.

Why drivers choose Eventuri

Most drivers choose Eventuri for the intake design, the quality of the carbon fibre and the way a finished kit looks under the bonnet. Each system is made for a specific car rather than as a universal filter, so it is designed to fit in place of the factory intake parts.

What you're buying

An Eventuri intake replaces the factory airbox with a carbon fibre housing. Inside, a reverse-cone filter sits in a venturi-shaped housing that is designed to guide air smoothly towards the turbo or throttle body. The housing is sealed, so the engine draws air through the intake ducting rather than from the hot engine bay.

Popular applications

Our Eventuri range covers BMW M cars such as the G80 M3, G82 M4, G87 M2, F80 M3, F82 M4, F90 M5 and X3 M, plus models like the M135i, M240i and M340i. For Audi we have kits for the RS3, TT RS, RS4, RS5, RS6, RS7, RSQ3 and S3. You'll also find kits for the Mercedes-AMG A45, C63 and G63, the Volkswagen Golf GTI and Golf R (Mk7 and Mk8), the Toyota GR Yaris, GR Supra and GR86, and the Honda Civic Type R. Driving a BMW? Choosing the right kit

Match the kit to your car's chassis code and engine, not just the model name. For example, the BMW M340i has separate kits for the earlier G20 and the 2025-on facelift, and the Audi RS3 has different kits for the 8V and 8Y. Check the chassis code, engine and years in each product title. If you're unsure, contact the AUTOID team with your registration before you order and we'll help you pick the right part.
