BMW M5 G90 G99 OPF Titanium Slip-On Line Exhaust System by Akrapovic

The Akrapovič Slip-On Line (Titanium) is a full titanium performance exhaust system engineered for the OPF/GPF-equipped BMW M5 Saloon (G90) and M5 Touring (G99). Every system we sell is supplied complete with a genuine pair of Akrapovič tailpipes already included in the price — so what you see on this page is exactly what turns up ready to fit, with no separate tailpipe order and no surprise invoice once you've already committed to the system.

Akrapovič sells the Slip-On Line muffler and its tailpipe set as two separate part numbers, and a tailpipe choice is mandatory before the system can be fitted — Akrapovič does not offer this exhaust without one. Many retailers list the muffler on its own at a lower headline price, then charge for the tailpipes separately once you reach checkout. At AUTOID we combine the genuine Akrapovič system with your choice of Round or Hexagonal carbon-fibre and titanium tailpipes into a single product, priced as one. If you're chasing even more performance, we also offer the optional Akrapovič Evolution Link Pipe Set as an add-on below.

Built for cars with a petrol particulate filter and ECE type approved as standard, this high-grade titanium system reduces weight by 31.8% (6.12 kg) over the stock exhaust. Complex parts, including the exhaust valve housings and specially designed collectors, are cast at Akrapovič's in-house titanium foundry, and the increased-diameter main tubes work with a dedicated control kit to deliver a refined Akrapovič sound in every drive mode. Installation is a straightforward plug-and-play job, though the stock exhaust must be cut to fit.

• Power: +7.1 hp (+5.2 kW) at 2,050 rpm
• Torque: +24.3 Nm at 2,050 rpm
• Weight saving: 6.12 kg (31.8%) lighter than the OEM exhaust
• Material: High-grade titanium system with your choice of titanium tailpipes
• Approval: ECE type approved (valid on cars fitted with a petrol particulate filter)
• Fitment: OPF/GPF-equipped BMW M5 (G90/G99)
• Manufacture: Designed and produced in Slovenia by Akrapovič
• Warranty: Covered by the official Akrapovič warranty

Select from two genuine Akrapovič tailpipe designs, both finished in hand-made carbon-fibre with a titanium inner sleeve and integrated acoustic reflectors:

• Round: A classic cylindrical design shared with other Akrapovič BMW M systems, reworked for the M5.
• Hexagonal: A new hexagonal profile designed specifically for the M5, for a bolder, more distinctive look.

Both tailpipe options are included in the price above — there's no upcharge for either finish.

For track use, add the Akrapovič Evolution Link Pipe Set (Titanium) to unlock further gains — tested back-to-back against the standard system, it takes total gains to +11.5 hp and +15.6 Nm, and saves a further 19.56 kg (72.6%) over the stock part. ECU remapping is mandatory when this upgrade is fitted, and doing so invalidates the ECE type approval on this system — it's intended for closed-course competition use only.

To complete the look, Akrapovič also offers a matching Rear Carbon Fibre Diffuser and Rear Lip (Carbon) for the M5, plus an optional Sound Kit to control the exhaust note from the cockpit — all available separately from AUTOID.

This system is for OPF/GPF-equipped vehicles only, typically UK and EU market cars. If your M5 does not have a petrol particulate filter, you'll need our non-OPF Evolution Line system instead. Fitting requires cutting the stock exhaust system. Model years and specification can vary — contact us to confirm fitment before ordering.
