What exhausts are there for the BMW G80 M3?

Complete systems from Akrapovič (the titanium Slip-On Line), Boost Logic, Remus and Milltek Sport, plus downpipes, OPF/GPF bypass pipes, link pipes and valve control from Milltek and Akrapovič.
Which G80 M3 exhausts are road legal?

Akrapovič lists ECE type approval for its Slip-On Line on OPF-equipped cars. The Boost Logic titanium system, the Remus racing configurations, the Milltek full catback, and the bypass pipes and downpipes are all listed for off-road, track or competition use only.
Do I need a remap with a G80 M3 exhaust?

Not for the Akrapovič Slip-On Line, which Akrapovič says needs no ECU remapping. The Milltek full catback and OPF/GPF bypass need vehicle coding, Stage 2 ECU software or a bypass module, the Boost Logic system needs an OPF delete module cable or vehicle coder, and Akrapovič's Evolution Link Pipe needs ECU remapping.
Do G80 M3 exhausts work with the exhaust valves?

The Boost Logic system uses the factory electronically controlled valves. Milltek's Active Valve Control Plug & Play System lists the G80 and G81 M3, OPF and non-OPF, and gives remote control of the valves on the factory exhaust or a Milltek system.
Is a G80 M3 exhaust a straight bolt-on?

Not always. Milltek's particulate filter-back system means cutting the original exhaust, and several systems need coding or a remap as well, as above. Each product page lists what's in the box and what fitting involves.

The complete systems are the Akrapovič Slip-On Line in titanium, the Boost Logic titanium exhaust, the Remus exhaust, and Milltek's cat-back, axle-back and particulate filter-back systems. The rest of the range is made up of parts: Milltek and Akrapovič downpipes, Milltek OPF/GPF bypass pipes and the Z-Pipe, Akrapovič's Evolution Link Pipe Set and Milltek's plug-and-play valve control. Most are also listed for the G81 Touring and the G82 and G83 M4.

Only some are for the road.
