What is included in the AUTOID carbon body kit for the F87 M2 Competition?

The AUTOID carbon body kit for the F87 M2 Competition includes: a CS-style carbon fibre front splitter, FORM Industries pre-preg carbon mirror covers (LHD or RHD), a CS-style carbon fibre rear spoiler and a carbon fibre performance rear diffuser. All components use 2x2 weave carbon with a matching high-gloss lacquer finish. The kit is fully customisable.
Does the genuine BMW M Performance steering wheel for the F87 require professional installation?

Yes. The BMW M Performance Alcantara LED steering wheel involves the airbag system, which must be handled correctly during removal and installation. Professional fitting is strongly recommended. AUTOID offers fitting at our Chelmsford, Essex facility.
Is the F87 M2 Competition the same as the standard F87 M2?

No. The M2 Competition (2018–2021) uses the S55 engine (from the M3/M4), while the original M2 (2015–2018) uses the N55 engine. They are different cars with different performance characteristics. Most exterior parts are compatible with both, but engine-specific upgrades (exhaust, intake) are different. All products in this collection are confirmed for the S55-engined F87 M2 Competition specifically.

Yes. AUTOID offers professional fitting at our Chelmsford, Essex facility for all products in this collection, including body kit installation and M Performance steering wheel fitting.
