Q: Does this fit the G87 M2 as well as the G42?

A: Yes. The AUTOID CS rear spoiler is confirmed for the BMW M2 G87 (2023+) as well as the full G42 2 Series range including the M240i. Boot lid geometry is compatible across all three models.

Q: How is this fitted - do I need a garage?

A: No. The spoiler comes with pre-applied 3M double-sided tape and an adhesive promoter. Most owners complete the installation in under 20 minutes with no tools required. Follow the linked installation guide.

Q: Is the 3M tape strong enough for long-term fitment?

A: Yes. 3M automotive double-sided tape forms a strong bond on a properly prepared surface using the included adhesive promoter - do not skip the promoter step as it significantly increases bond strength.

Q: Can I remove this spoiler later?

A: Yes. The tape bond can be released using dental floss or fishing wire worked slowly along the bond line, followed by adhesive remover to clean residue. Contact us for detailed removal guidance.
