Celebrate BMW M's 50-year motorsport legacy with the Genuine BMW M Performance Heritage Badge Set - a limited-edition emblem programme designed to commemorate BMW M's 50th anniversary in 2022. Available through AUTOID as an authorised genuine BMW M Performance reseller, these are production BMW M Performance parts supplied in genuine BMW packaging with BMW's full authenticity guarantee.

The Heritage badge design draws directly from BMW M's original 1973 motorsport identity: the staggered semicircles in blue, violet and red that first appeared on BMW racing cars and, most famously, on the BMW M1 - the only production car to ever wear a badge with all three M stripes.

The set includes a front bonnet badge and a rear boot lid badge. When ordering, please confirm whether your car has a reversing camera in the rear badge area - two boot lid badge variants exist. An installation video is available on the AUTOID YouTube channel.

A: Yes. The BMW M Performance Heritage badge set is a universal M Performance accessory that can be fitted to any BMW with a standard bonnet and boot lid badge position. The only variant consideration is the rear badge - confirm whether your car has a reversing camera in the badge area.

A: The three-colour design originated in 1973 when BMW M first applied it to their racing cars. The BMW M1 was the only production car to wear this specific badge in the original era. BMW M's 50th anniversary edition restored the design as a production M Performance accessory.
