Showcasing the Trevora TR87 Track Pack Prototype at Bimmer Invasion

The American BMW scene is currently operating on another level. We just returned from a 4,000 mile round trip to West Palm Beach for Bimmer Invasion, and to say we were blown away would be an understatement. From seeing over 50 G99 M5 Tourings in a single lot to the incredible hospitality of the US community, it was the perfect stage for two massive milestones in our journey.

The Evolution: TRE becomes Trevora

Since 2018, TRE has been a passion project in partnership with AUTOID. However, the brand has grown to a point where it was time for its own identity. We used Bimmer Invasion to officially announce the rebrand from TRE to Trevora.

Trevora is now a dedicated design and engineering firm. While the DNA remains the same, the focus has shifted toward full scale, motorsport inspired aero programs. To support our growing US fanbase, we have also partnered with IND Distribution as our exclusive North American partner. This means faster shipping and no duties for our friends across the pond.

Introducing the TR87 Track Pack

The star of the show was the Trevora TR87 Track Pack Prototype, fitted to the IND built G87 M2. We brought these components fresh off the 3D printer specifically for this event to get real world feedback before moving into final carbon production.

It was not a perfectly smooth journey. Our prototype wing actually snapped during transit! We spent the hours before the Hagerty pre show with sandpaper and glue, ensuring the car looked flawless for the fans.

The Components:

• Modular Track Splitter: A complete ground up rework of our standard TR87 splitter. It features a significantly more aggressive rake and an integrated lower splitter section that works in harmony with the existing outer pieces.
• TR87 Track Wing: Clearly inspired by the GT3 RS, this dual plane design is built for serious downforce. The final version will feature lightweight aluminum risers and an adjustable pre preg carbon blade.
• Full Winglet Kit: To round out the aggressive Track Pack look, the car was fitted with updated front air ducts, center bumper trim, kidney grilles, winglet side skirts, and rear bumper winglets.

Form Meets Function

The Trevora philosophy is built on OEM+ fitment. Every piece of the Track Pack is engineered using advanced CAD modeling and 3D scanning to ensure it integrates seamlessly with the factory G87 lines. By utilizing autoclave cured pre preg carbon fiber for the final units, we achieve a superior strength to weight ratio that is ready for the track.

What’s Next?

The feedback at Bimmer Invasion was incredible, confirming that the G87 community is hungry for more aggressive, functional aero. We are now heading back to the UK to refine these prototypes and move into the production phase.
