Q: What is the difference between the ADRO V1 and V2 front splitter for the GR Supra?

A: The V2 features a wider splitter face with more overhang than the V1, giving a more aggressive and planted stance. The underside profile has also been revised to push aerodynamic performance beyond what the V1 delivered. Both are designed for the ADRO Facelift Front Bumper, but the V2 is the more confident, fully-developed iteration.

Q: Does the V2 front splitter fit the factory Toyota front bumper?

A: No. The V2 is designed exclusively for the ADRO Facelift Front Bumper (A18A20-2101). The geometry is specific to that bumper and will not fit the OEM Toyota front bumper. There is no adapter route available.

Q: Does the V2 splitter need to be paired with the ADRO canards?

A: The V2 was developed to pair with the ADRO Prepreg Front Bumper Canards (A18A20-1601) for a complete front aero package. It can be fitted without the canards, but the two components were designed together and deliver the strongest result as a matched set.

Q: What does wet carbon mean versus pre-preg carbon?

A: Wet carbon (wet-lay) is produced by hand-applying resin to dry carbon fabric during layup and curing at room temperature. Pre-preg carbon starts with resin pre-impregnated into the fabric and is autoclave-cured under heat and pressure. Pre-preg produces a lighter, stiffer and more dimensionally consistent panel. The V2 splitter is wet carbon; ADRO's Tesla range uses pre-preg.

Q: Has the V2 splitter been aerodynamically tested?

A: Yes. When tested as part of ADRO's complete front aero kit for the GR Supra, the package delivered a 970% increase in front downforce at 180 km/h with minimal drag penalty. The V2's deeper face and revised underside profile push the aerodynamic performance beyond the V1.
