Q: How much will this lower my Golf R?

A: The Eibach Pro-Kit lowers the Golf R by 15mm at both front and rear, measured from the standard factory ride height. If your car already has factory sports suspension, your actual drop will be less than 15mm.

Q: Do I need to replace my shock absorbers?

A: No. The Eibach Pro-Kit is specifically designed to work with the Golf R's OEM (factory) shock absorbers. No damper upgrade is required - simply swap the factory springs for the Pro-Kit springs.

Q: What is a progressive spring?

A: A progressive spring has a variable rate - softer at low compression (everyday comfort) and progressively stiffer at higher compression (cornering loads). This is why the Pro-Kit delivers both improved handling and maintained ride quality.

Q: Is this for 4Motion (4WD) Golf R only?

A: The Pro-Kit for this application is designed for the Golf R with 4Motion. The Golf R is only offered with 4Motion, so all Golf R Mk7/Mk7.5 models are compatible.

Q: Does lowering affect my MOT or insurance?

A: A 15mm lowering with Eibach should not cause an MOT failure as suspension geometry remains within legal parameters. Inform your insurer of any suspension modification.
