Give your BMW an immediate visual upgrade with the AUTOID Gloss Black M-Style Mirror Covers, designed for a wide range of G-series BMW models from 2019 onwards including the G42 2 Series, G20/G21 3 Series and G22/G23/G26 4 Series. These direct OEM replacement mirror caps install in place of your factory housing, upgrading the exterior aesthetic with a deep gloss black finish (paint code 668) that adds an M-inspired edge to any build.

You can choose between two mirror style options: the newer M wing mirror style found on the G8X platform, or the original M wing mirror style. Each cap is manufactured from lightweight ABS plastic (0.25kg per piece) and is specifically designed to channel airflow down the side of the car.

IMPORTANT: These covers are NOT compatible with the M240i G42, M340i G20 (2024+ LCI), M440i G22 (2024+ LCI), or i4 M50 (2023+). Please check the compatibility list below carefully.

Q: Are these compatible with the M240i, M340i, or M440i?

A: No. These covers are NOT compatible with the M240i G42, M340i G20 (2024+ LCI), M440i G22 (2024+ LCI), or i4 M50 (2023+). These models require a different mirror housing. Please see the linked alternative product page.

Q: What is the difference between the two style options?

A: The new M wing mirror style (from the G8X platform) has a more sculpted angular profile; the original M wing mirror style is the classic design. Both are gloss black paint code 668. Choose whichever best matches your car's theme.

Q: Do I need to specify LHD or RHD when ordering?

A: Yes. The mirror cap geometry differs between LHD and RHD configurations. Please confirm your drive side when placing your order.

Q: How are they installed?

A: Direct OEM replacement - release the retaining clips on the factory cap, remove it and press the new gloss black cap into place. Most owners complete the installation in under 10 minutes per mirror.

M style caps
Again great product. Nice finish. Only down side the blind clips in the middle of the mirror. The drivers side half broke off when fitting. Everything was aligned but there was a crack and the broken bit has gone into the mirror. I don’t believe I fitted wrong as I followed the fitting instructions on the YouTube channel. It still holds with the other clips but isn’t as tight. Anyway no wind noise and looks good
