Q: Is this exhaust road legal?

A: The standard OPF/GPF-compatible Milltek system is ECE approved for road use. The optional OPF delete variant is designed primarily for off-road and track use - check regional emissions regulations before purchasing.

Q: Why does installation require cutting the original exhaust?

A: The Milltek system joins onto the factory exhaust at a specific point requiring the original pipe to be cut to the correct length. This is standard procedure and ensures a precise, leak-free join. Professional fitting is strongly recommended.

Q: What is the OPF delete variant?

A: The OPF delete removes the particulate filter, reducing backpressure for increased performance and a louder sound. It is designed for off-road/track use only and requires a module cable or ECU coding to suppress fault codes.

Q: Does this fit both the G20 saloon and G21 Touring?

A: Yes. This system is compatible with both the G20 saloon and G21 Touring body styles of the M340i xDrive.
