What is the difference between a CS spoiler and a Performance spoiler for BMW?

Both the CS-style and Performance-style spoilers from AUTOID are gloss black boot lid lip spoilers for the BMW G42/M240i/G87 M2. They share the same 3M tape installation method and gloss black finish but have different trailing edge profiles - the CS-style references BMW's own CS model aesthetic while the Performance style has a different, slightly more subtle profile. Both are purely aesthetic upgrades with no functional difference.
Do rear spoilers affect the car's ability to open the boot?

No. All spoilers in our range are designed to allow normal boot operation - they are mounted on the trailing edge of the boot lid and clear the boot aperture completely when the lid opens. This is confirmed for all specific vehicle fitments in our range.
How long does a 3M-tape spoiler installation last?

When correctly installed using the surface preparation steps (cleaning with the included adhesive promoter before applying the tape), a 3M VHB tape bond provides a permanent, weather-resistant bond rated for long-term automotive use. AUTOID customers have maintained these installations for years without any adhesion issues.
Can a rear spoiler be removed cleanly if I change my mind?

Yes. A 3M VHB tape bond can be released by working dental floss or fishing wire slowly along the bond line. The paint surface should not be damaged if done carefully. Adhesive remover (such as Isopropyl Alcohol) can clean any remaining residue.
