Akrapovič exhausts for BMW M and Porsche

Akrapovič designs and produces its exhausts in Slovenia, and most of the systems listed here are made from Titanium, with many parts cast in Akrapovič's own foundry. We list them mainly for BMW M cars and Porsche, with a few for the Audi RS Q8 and Toyota GR Yaris. Alongside the exhaust systems you'll find link pipes, header sets, sound kits and valve controllers, tailpipes, and Carbon Fibre rear diffusers, wings and spoilers.

How the range fits together

Slip-On Line systems usually replace the silencers and tailpipes, so the rest of the original exhaust stays in place. On some cars Akrapovič also sells the tailpipes separately, and both are needed before the system can be fitted.

Evolution Line systems replace more of the exhaust. On the non-OPF G90 M5, for example, the Evolution Line takes the place of the original middle and rear silencers. On several cars, adding an Evolution Link Pipe Set to a Slip-On brings it up to Evolution specification.

Slip-On Race Line and Evolution Header Sets go further again. Akrapovič describes some of these, such as the GR Yaris Slip-On Race Line, as track exhausts, and its header sets for the 911 GT3 turn a Slip-On into a complete system.

Sound kits and valve controllers let you switch the exhaust between a quieter and a more open sound from inside the car. Some systems also need a fitting kit or actuator kit, depending on which exhaust your car was built with, so check the product page or ask us.

The trade-off with link pipes and headers

The parts that replace the most pipework often change how the car can be used. Several Akrapovič link pipe sets need an ECU remap, are listed for closed-circuit use only, and take the Slip-On they're paired with outside its type approval. Other systems carry ECE type approval and need no remap. Check the product page for the part you're looking at, and ask us if it doesn't say.
