A: Yes. ADRO developed the fin geometry and exit profile through CFD simulation using 3D scan data of the Model S underbody. The design smooths underbody airflow, reduces rear turbulence at speed and contributes to improved high-speed stability | not just visual aggression.

Q: What years of Tesla Model S does this diffuser fit?

A: This rear diffuser fits the Tesla Model S Facelift II (2021+), covering the refreshed Model S Long Range and Model S Plaid from 2021 onwards. Not compatible with the pre-2021 Model S.

Q: How does pre-preg carbon compare to standard carbon fibre for a diffuser?

A: Pre-preg carbon is manufactured with resin pre-impregnated into the fabric and cured under heat and pressure. The result is a panel that is lighter, stiffer and more dimensionally stable than wet-laid carbon | with a more uniform surface finish. For a diffuser exposed to underbody airflow and road debris, the improved structural integrity of pre-preg is a meaningful practical advantage.

Q: Is the diffuser compatible with the ADRO front lip and side skirts?

A: Yes. All four components in the ADRO Model S Facelift II aero range | front lip, side skirts, rear spoiler and rear diffuser | share the same pre-preg construction and 2x2 twill specification. Fitted as a complete programme, they form a cohesive and aerodynamically consistent exterior transformation.

Q: Does installation require any modification to the rear bumper?

A: No. The diffuser was developed from 3D scan reference data of the Model S underbody and bolts on directly with no cutting, trimming or modification. 3M adhesive tape and mounting hardware are included.
